Everything homeowners usually want to know before they call: what seamless actually means, what it costs to find out, how we handle tile roofs, and what we will and will not promise you.
No question matches that. Try a shorter word, or just call and ask: (602) 920-1672
Gutter sold in a store comes in fixed lengths, usually around ten feet, and those lengths get joined together on your roof. Every joint is sealed, and every seal is a future leak. In Phoenix the sun works on that sealant year round, so it fails sooner here than the manufacturer's rating assumes.
Seamless means we bring the machine to your house and form the gutter on site, in one continuous piece cut to your roofline. A forty foot run has no joints in it at all. Corners and downspout outlets are still connections, but the long straight runs, which is where sectional gutter leaks, have nothing to fail.
Most single-story homes are done in a day, and often in a few hours. One customer described the whole install taking around two hours. Two-story homes and complex rooflines take longer.
We tell you which one you are looking at when we quote it, not after we have started. If the fascia behind the old gutter turns out to be soft, we will show you and tell you what it needs. Carpentry is usually handled by a specialist rather than by us.
Yes, and it is most of what we do here. Barrel and S-tile cannot simply be walked on, and desert stucco does not hold an anchor the way wood does. Gutter hangs off the fascia board rather than the tile, which is what keeps the tile out of it.
A customer with fragile Spanish clay tile told us other companies would not touch their roofline. That is the job we would rather have than not, so if you have been turned away, it is worth asking.
Yes. We come out, measure the roofline, show you the colors and give you a written price before we leave. There is no charge and no obligation, you are not signing anything on the driveway, and nobody is going to keep calling you afterwards.
The owner writes the quote, which is the part customers tend to mention. You are not getting a commissioned salesperson who has never been on a roof.
Estimates are free across the Valley.
CLIENT TO CONFIRM: is there a distance past which a trip charge applies, or is pricing genuinely flat everywhere you go? Do not publish "no trip fees anywhere" unless that is true in every case. It is exactly the sort of line a customer quotes back at you.Yes. Flow-Rite is veteran owned, and there is a discount for veterans, active duty, law enforcement, fire and EMS. Mention it when you call or tick the box on the form and it gets applied at the quote.
CLIENT TO CONFIRM: the actual amount, and whether it applies to repairs and cleaning or only to full installations. We are a small local company. There is no call center, no national advertising budget and no commission structure to fund, and the people quoting the job are the people doing it. That shows up in the price.
Compare quotes on what is actually being installed rather than the number alone: profile and size, how many downspouts, whether the fascia is being dealt with, who is doing the work, and what happens if something goes wrong afterwards.
A gutter is a narrow strip of metal hanging on the outside edge of the roof, away from the attic, so it is not a meaningful heat source for the inside of your house either way. Dark metal does get hot to the touch in full sun, the same as anything else outdoors here.
Pick the color that looks right on the house.
We stock 28 colors and bring physical samples out so you can hold the real finish against your fascia and stucco in daylight. Screens shift color badly, so this is the only reliable way to choose.
If your HOA requires one specific color, tell us at the estimate and we will work out whether one of the 28 covers it or whether we need to source something.
The color is a factory baked-on finish applied to the coil before it reaches us. It is not paint sprayed on afterwards, which is the thing that chalks and peels at the seams on a repainted gutter.
OPTIONAL: if the coil supplier publishes a finish warranty or UV spec sheet, this is the place to cite it, with the supplier named. Do not state a rating without that document. No, and be careful with anyone who tells you otherwise. Screens block the large debris that causes overflow: palo verde needles, mesquite pods, roof grit. Fine dust still gets through and settles over time, and this is Phoenix, so there is a lot of fine dust.
What screens buy you is far fewer trips up a ladder, not zero. One customer told us her husband had not been up a ladder in six months, which is a fair description of the benefit.
Twice a year works for most Valley homes, timed around monsoon rather than around autumn. Once before it starts, so the runs are clear when the first storm arrives, and once after, because dust storms and heavy rain put grit and roof granules into the low end of the run.
If you have mesquite or palo verde close to the house, or a lot of roof draining into one downspout, check it more often.
Yes. Arizona ROC #300914, licensed, bonded and insured, for residential and commercial work. You can look it up at roc.az.gov, and you should, with any contractor you are considering, not just us. The license, the bond and the complaint history are all public.
It matters more than people think on this job specifically. Somebody is working off a ladder along a two-story roofline on your property.

Yes, residential and commercial both. For a commercial roof it is quicker to call than to use a form, because the sizing conversation is easier to have out loud.
These answers are general. Each service page goes into what actually happens on that kind of job.
Ask it directly. Send the form or call, and you will get a straight answer from the people who would be doing the work, not a scripted one.
Or request an estimate. Same form, tell us which in the message.
