Sun ages the sealed joints, heat and load work the fasteners loose, and the whole year of rain tends to arrive in a handful of storms. Most repair calls in the Valley are one of these four.
Corners That Drip
Corners and end caps are the places a gutter has to be joined and sealed, and sealant is what gives out first under Arizona sun. You usually notice it as a stain running down the wall below one corner rather than as a leak.

- Fascia that has softened from years of water getting behind the gutter. New fasteners will not hold in it.
- A run that has been patched repeatedly and keeps failing somewhere new.
- Sectional gutter coming apart at the joints along its whole length.
- A run that overflows every storm because it is undersized for the roof feeding it, which is a capacity problem a repair cannot fix.

Before You Call
How fast can someone come out?
Call and ask, because it depends on the week and on how bad it is. Monsoon season is the busiest stretch of the year and a leak during a storm is treated differently from a corner that has been dripping quietly for a season.
We would rather give you a real date on the phone than promise a turnaround on a web page.
Will a repair actually hold, or am I just delaying?
That depends almost entirely on what is behind the gutter. If the fascia is sound, a re-pitch, a re-secure and a reseal are a proper fix and they last.
If the wood has gone soft, no fastener holds in it and a repair is just buying a few months. We will tell you which one you have rather than taking the easy sale either way.
Can you repair gutters somebody else installed?
Yes, and a good share of repair work is exactly that. One customer had a failed system from a previous contractor and said the useful part was having the actual problem identified and explained before anyone started work.
What if you find rot behind the gutter?
You get told, with the section down so you can see it yourself. We will tell you what the board needs, but carpentry is usually handled by a specialist rather than by us, so it does not appear on our bill as a surprise. What happens next is your call.
Do you charge for coming out to look?
No. Someone comes out, looks at the run, and tells you what it needs. If that turns out to be a repair you can do yourself, we will say so.
